exercises and practical tools to help students apply the lessons to their own

Sacred Garment:
Women and Tefilin
Tefilin are called in our holy
sources, a sign, "ot." Even though the Torah exempted women from wearing them,
there is no prohibition against it. The Talmud says that if women wish to put on
tefilin, we should not stand in their way. Moreover, the women are rewarded for
it. What are Tefilin? May women wear Tefilin? What is prayer? Can Tefilin help
us to pray? How can Tefilin contribute to our spiritual practice? Come! Learn
and experience how Tefilin can help you to connect heart, mind and soul to
divine energy. The class is taught by Ori
Har,
spiritual director and rabbinic student, Sunday, February 18, 1:00 - 5:00 PM, Bonai
Shalom, 1527 Cherryvale Road, Boulder, CO 80303; Cost: $10; If you are
interested in participating, please RSVP to Sara Hollander, sandiji2@yahoo.com,
