    News from Boulder JFS

Please welcome Margie Freedman and Roberta Reinfeld, who joined the staff as Boulder JFS resource coordinators in September. Both women bring their diverse backgrounds and experience to the job while sharing many similarities!

Born and raised in New York, Margie Freedman received an undergraduate degree in social work from Syracuse University. Before joining JFS, she held a part-time position with City of Boulder Senior Services. Margie previously worked at the Boulder Jewish Community Center (BJCC) as the director of older adult programs, and has also served at Boulder County United Way.

Like Margie, Roberta Reinfeld is also a native New Yorker and attended school there. She managed classified advertising and marketing departments for weekly newspapers for more than 20 years. Roberta loved that career and enjoyed the fast-paced lifestyle. When she moved to Boulder, she switched gears and careers, working for several nonprofit organizations.

Coincidentally, Roberta served as facilities manager and director of older adult programs for the Boulder JCC, which was a similar position to the one Margie held at the JCC a few years earlier!
