Dear Pardes,
With the holiday season upon us, there are many
people in the community who need our help. Whether
you give of your time as a volunteer, donate food to
the Weinberg Food Pantry, or make a financial
contribution through the REEL HOPE fundraiser, we
hope you will find it in your heart to help others in
the weeks ahead.

Holiday Food Donations Needed |
 |
Our need for donations for Family Safety Net is great
throughout the year as we continue to see record
numbers of clients each week due to higher energy
costs and financial hardship. As we approach the
winter holidays, we urge churches, synagogues,
scout troops, community groups and individuals to
help us organize food drives so we can offer our
clients more food. We provide donation barrels and
encourage each congregation or group to choose one
item to collect such as soup, pasta sauce, cereal or
canned fruit.
For more information, please contact Amy Wood,
(303) 597-5000, ext. 344.

facilities; visit people in hospices, their homes,
hospitals, or correctional institutions; offer
bereavement support; and more!

“Being a para-chaplain gives me great pleasure,”
says Paula Breese, a para-chaplain since the
program’s inception in 1995. “I love the opportunity
to brighten the lives of our seniors. They’ve taught
me the meaning of courage, strength, and dignity.
We sing, we pray, we laugh, we talk, and eat
together; we have become family.”

please contact Nancy Benyamin at (303) 597-5000,
