Family Safety Net Department Has Urgent Need

Many vital needs of JFS clients cannot be met without King Soopers or Target gift certificates or cards. The Family Safety Net staff helps clients purchase special needed items, such as medicines and special diet foods for diabetics, with the flexibility allowed by these certificates.  At this time the supply is down to zero and more certificates are desperately needed.  Please contact Shelly Hines, (303) 597-5000, ext. 319, for details on how you can help.

Clean Out Your Closets to Help JFS

Please donate your usable clothing and household items to JFS’s Healing Minds program and turn your stuff into funds that help JFS heal the minds of children and adults dealing with emotional issues. Help the JFS Counseling Center serve the uninsured and underinsured, and receive a receipt for your tax-deductible contribution!

Clothing donation bins are now available in the JFS parking lot, 3201 South Tamarac Drive, for your convenience. Please bag your donated clothing in advance and simply drive up to drop off your donations! For more information, please call (303) 232-GIVE (303-232-4483).

JFS Needs Volunteers to Help Seniors

Volunteer as a driver for the RIDE Transportation Program and provide a valuable service by transporting, escorting and staying with JFS clients at their medical and dental appointments. Not only will you help out fellow community members, but it is also a wonderful opportunity to make new friends – perhaps developing a new, treasured friendship. Please contact Ann Reilly at (303) 597-5000, ext. 315, for more information.
