Pardes Levavot, “Orchard of Hearts,” was formed in the spirit of creating conscious holy community. Our name expresses the spiritual blossoming of each individual heart within an inspiring and nurturing orchard.

Pardes Levavot and Shepherd of the Hills together Adopt-A-RoadPardes Levavot member Jim Wright organized the adoption of 79th Street from Lookout Road to Mineral Road for our community. In keeping with our shared vision for healing the world, Shepherd of the Hills has been invited to join and has most enthusiastically accepted. If you drive on 79th Street less than a mile away from our Shul, keep your eyes open for the sign announcing this. Sunday, September 18, 2005 will be our first cleanup day. This comes right in the middle of the month of Elul, as we do our work of repentance leading up to the High HolyDays. We will gather at our Shul for a hotdog and chips lunch at 12:15 pm together with members of Shepherd of the Hill. After lunch and a brief training session, we will head out to clean our mile. When finished, you can return to the shul for a make-your-own sundae feast. Please join us for fun and rewarding day of service. |
