Pardes Levavot, “Orchard of Hearts,” was formed in the spirit of creating conscious holy community. Our name expresses the spiritual blossoming of each individual heart within an inspiring and nurturing orchard.

ALEPH Institute for Jewish Culture Public Education Classes begin the week of September 12, 2006 - so it is time to secure your space now! Classes are open for registration. Our fall classes are:

    The Holocaust in Film with Rachel Jablon
    (Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m., Sept. 13 - Oct. 11 and Oct. 18 – Nov. 15)

    Biblical Hebrew with Alison Schofield
    (Thursdays, 7-8 p.m., Sept. 14 - Nov. 16)

SAVE THE DATE- REMNANTS


Monday, October 30, 2006 at 7:00pm

The Holocaust Awareness Institute together with the Hebrew Educational Alliance present the nationally renowned play, REMNANTS by Dr. Henry Greenspan. Based on two decades of his conversations with Holocaust survivors.

The play explores the human experience of living after the Holocaust. More information to follow.


High Holiday Services

Program Coordinator for CJS's ALEPH Institute for Jewish Culture, Rabbi Richard Newman will be leading Hillel's High Holiday Services. Services and meals for students are free with an RSVP! Community members welcome for a suggested donation of $72. (No one will be turned away because of an inability to pay!)

Rocky Mountain Jewish Historical Society Presents...

A photographic mini-exhibition titled Pioneering Jewish Women of Colorado

This will be open for viewing at the University of Denver's Women's College, 1901 East Asbury Ave, during the months of October and November, open Mon-Fri, 9:00 am-5 :00 pm.

All photographs are from the Beck Archives of the RMJHS Special Collections, Penrose Library and the Center for Judaic Studies of the University of Denver. The exhibition is sponsored by the Evan and Evie Makovsky family and will overlap the release and launch of the new book by Dr Jeanne Abrams, titled Jewish Women Pioneering the Frontier Trail: A History in the West.

This exhibition will be available to travel to other venues who may be interested in exhibiting it.

Stand Up for Humanity -- 65th Annual BABI YAR Memorial
