Pardes Levavot, “Orchard of Hearts,” was formed in the spirit of creating conscious holy community. Our name expresses the spiritual blossoming of each individual heart within an inspiring and nurturing orchard.

Rabbi Leila Gal Berner is founder and Director of Lev Tahor: A Center for Jewish Soulwork and serves as rabbi of Kol Ami, the northern Virginia Reconstructionist community. She is a well-known and admired Torah teacher, scholar and spiritual guide.

Rabbi Ilyse Kramer is a respected Torah and Talmud teacher in the Baltimore-Columbia area and is the author of Sacred Arguing in Jewish Tradition, Tales of the Talmud and Bridges: Jewish Learning to Jewish Living.

Both rabbis have a passion for teaching a Judaism that honors the mind and reaches the heart.

Larissa Blechman is a trained yoga instructor and member of the Himalayan Institute Teacher's Association (HITA) and the Mid Atlantic Yoga Association. Her passion for yoga and Judaism are reflected in her expression of Yoga combined with Judaism, ShalomYoga. She brings a unique synthesis of a Jewish soul and the best of yoga learning to her facilitation of the Jewish yoga experience.
