Health Care in Colorado: What’s Working, What’s Not, and What’s Next

As part of its Health Care Mitzvah Year, the Tikkun Olam Committee of Har HaShem will be presenting an exciting panel of health experts on Sunday, December 7, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Har HaShem. The panel will be moderated by Har HaShem member Todd Saliman, Governor Ritter’s Budget and Planning Director and former member of the Colorado Legislative Assembly. The high-profile panel includes Mr. Peter Leibig, Director of Clinica Family Health Services on care for low income and uninsured patients, our own Dr. David Price on the Kaiser Permanente Health Care Plan, Dr. Tracy Johnson, member of Governor Ritter’s Blue Ribbon Panel, and Dr. Laird Wolfe, an ER doctor at Boulder Community Hospital. The event is open to the public, for a suggested $5 donation.

This is a rare opportunity to hear from health care and public-policy experts as they discuss one the most important political and social justice topics of the day. We are proud and privileged to have such an array of experts. Please join us for this exciting evening!
