JFS Annual Meeting Commemorates 135th Year
This year, approximately 175 guests enjoyed a new evening format at Cableland and celebrated JFS's 135th year of service at the Annual Meeting in June.

Join the Jewish Family Service team for the 20th annual AIDS Walk Colorado on Sunday, September 9! This year JFS will dedicate our team efforts to honor the memory of Aaron Weiss, a 21-year-old who recently lost his struggle against AIDS.
To join the team and start collecting pledges, visit www.aidswalkcolorado.org, click Register, and then join the "Jewish Family Service Hearts and Hands" team. If you cannot attend the Walk, you can also make a donation to the JFS team from that Web site.

JFS Group Home Gets a Facelift

After many months of hard work, the JFS Group Home renovation is complete! The residents, eight adults with developmental disabilities, celebrated with friends, family, and JFS supporters at a recent open house gathering and mezuzah-hanging ceremony.
Laurie Greene, who has lived in the Group Home since 1982 - longer than any other resident - finally has his own room! "I have my own TV and radio and it's much quieter now," he says enthusiastically.

$40/person which includes a $12 donation to Jewish Family Service
Three-course kosher style (non-kosher meat) will be provided, as well as one drink
Midor Ledor is a social networking group for men and women, singles, marrieds and couples in the Jewish community in their 20s, 30s and 40s, who support the outstanding work of Jewish Family Service.
This summer event will be a blast with appetizers, dinner, mingling, and an opportunity to "Take on Hunger," learning how you can help support JFS and its Weinberg Food Pantry. Please bring toiletries, diapers, or canned food to donate to the Pantry.
