Pardes Levavot, “Orchard of Hearts,” was formed in the spirit of creating conscious holy community. Our name expresses the spiritual blossoming of each individual heart within an inspiring and nurturing orchard.

The Robert E. Loup JCC invites you to join us for the 2010 Denver JCC Maccabi Games®, hosted for the first time in Denver August 1-6, 2010. This Olympic-style event provides a unique combination of sports, cultural and social activities and will be the largest Jewish teen event in Denver’s history. The JCC Maccabi Games® offer a transforming and powerful experience to Jewish teens by integrating sports with Jewish identity and values.

We need:

1000 volunteers
600 host families
300 local athletes between the ages of 12-16

The 2010 Denver JCC Maccabi Games® are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Jewish teenagers in our community. This weeklong Olympic-style athletic competition is about more than just sports. In addition to competing in either team or individual sports or as a journalist, the Games are about socializing with other Jewish teens from around the world, participating in tzedakah projects, and making connections with Jewish heritage and celebrating Israel. Host JCC Maccabi Games® athletes!

Over 1,000 athletes from North & South America, Israel and around the world are coming to Denver. Opening your home to visiting athletes is one of the best and most meaningful ways to share in the thrill of the Games.

Being a host family means providing:

Housing for at least two visiting athletes
Breakfasts and two dinners
Transportation to the Games venues and nightly pickup
Access to laundry facilities
A fun evening on Host Family Night!
