1. Restoring the
Soul: Faith and Community Partnerships presents a free brown bag
discussion
Date: Tuesday, June
26
Time: 11:30am
-1pm
Topic: “The Forgotten Young People of Boulder
County”
There is a population of 18-22 year olds, some with chronic
mental illness or developmentally delayed, who are homeless. They are
no longer
under the caring umbrella of the school districts because of age. These
young
people have no readily accessible resources and most of us do not even
know
that they exist. They are sleeping in the streets and alleys of Boulder
County.
Panel: Mary
Foehr, Manager, Boulder County Adult
Protective Services; MaryAnn Nick, Director of Services, Imagine; and a
representative of the Mental Health Department of Boulder County
Place: Central
Presbyterian Church, 402 Kimbark St., Longmont, CO 80501
