Foster Classic Golf Tournament
Great Sponsorship Opportunities
This year your sponsorship is more important to us
then ever. The need in our community for the unique
educational programs and social opportunities
offered
by Stepping Stones continues to grow. According to a
recent study released in the fall of 2006 the
intermarriage rate in the age category of 19-39 year
olds is 72%. Stepping Stones has proven that
given
support and education intermarried homes can insure
that the future of Judaism continues by promoting our
valued traditions and rituals of study, prayer, and
tzedakah.
This year's tournament is being generously
underwritten by The Golf Club at Bear Dance and
Steve & Elizabeth Kris. All proceeds will go to the
program, directly impacting Stepping Stones' ability to
continue our mission to welcome, support and
educate interfaith couples and families.
Please contact brittan@steppingstonesfamily.com to
sign up as a sponsor TODAY!

Jewish Parenting Tip
Shavuot is a holiday that is becoming more widely
celebrated in mainstream
Judaism. This is the holiday we count down to from
Passover. On
Shavuot (which
literally means weeks) we receive the Torah from g-d
at Mount Sinai. This is
a very high time for us all- as the Torah not only
instructs us collectively
how to live a meaningful life but each of us has our
own unique letter in
the Torah- our unique purpose for being here. Shavuot
is the time to speak
with our children about our expectations of them- the
expectations that g-d
has for them. And it is a
good time for us to personally check in- Am I living my
Torah? Am I bringing
my unique purpose to the world around me? I bless
us all for Shavuot to
bring our gifts and uniqueness to an even higher level!

Stepping Stones Donors
Jim and Kit Leventhal became instrumental
promoters, organizers and donors to the Foster
Classic Golf Tournament at the request of Elizabeth
Kris last year. Jim and Kit support Stepping Stones
because, "the preservation of Jewish family and
Jewish values is an important part of our every day
lives. The Stepping Stones mission reflects the values
which we believe are critical to the survival of the
Jewish family unit." Jim and Kit have recently
encouraged all of their friends and community to join
them as players and sponsors of the tournament
because, "Stepping Stones fills a need which is not
being met by any other organization. Its goals and its
achievements are wonderful and provide a great
service to our community."
