Playing as a Family!
Father, Father-in-Law & Son
Chip

Chip Galaty, Stepping Stones alumni and board member, has played in the Foster Classic Golf Tournament with his father, Dick Galaty, and his father- in-law, Norman Soep, for three years in a row! Norman even travels from Highland Park, IL every year because, "the golf tournament is a great opportunity for us to play golf together on a beautiful course while supporting a valuable cause." Chip shares that "Norman was thrilled about the impact that Stepping Stones and Pebbles had on our family (2003- 2005). He also recognizes the importance of community outreach to bring unaffiliated families into Jewish life." Dick lives in Golden, CO. He too recognizes the value of Stepping Stones to help interfaith families make informed decisions about their religious identity. Over the years, he has attended several Stepping Stones events, including two Passover Seders. "He enjoys participating in our family celebrations of various Jewish holidays throughout the year."

Supporting Stepping Stones
Walt Yearick & Sandy Wolf-Yearick
Sandy&Walt

Walt and Sandy joined the Foster Classic Golf Tournament as Diamond Sponsors this year. Sandy has shared that Stepping Stones is an "extremely important agency in our community" and wants to support getting the message out that interfaith couples can choose to practice Jewish traditions in their homes given the right support and education. In our discussion, Sandy references the statistics in our community - that the intermarriage rate in the age category of 19-39 year olds is 72% - and knows that supporting Stepping Stones is a way to help these couples make informed decisions regarding Jewish identity for their families.

Donate to Stepping Stones
One year of programming per family costs Stepping Stones $1,800. Stepping Stones provides this service to our families for $180 per year (only 10% of the total cost). Please help us to subsidize our programming so that no interfaith family seeking Jewish continuity is ever turned away.
