Pardes Levavot, “Orchard of Hearts,” was formed in the spirit of creating conscious holy community. Our name expresses the spiritual blossoming of each individual heart within an inspiring and nurturing orchard.

Dear Hearts and Friends of Hearts (who are also Hearts):

Thank you for your interest in my newly designed 4-Quarters/4-Corners Talitot!

In brief, the idea came to me in the fall of 2005, while living in Jerusalem, Israel. When I brought one back to the Ohalah (that’s the annual rabbinic conference for Jewish Renewal, which takes place in Boulder, Colorado every January) for my friend Jalda (pronounced Yalda) Nehora Rebling to wear at her ordination this past January, everyone said “Donna, you MUST make these available here in the States.” (It took a lot more convincing than that, I gotta tell ya – but after many e-mails and requests….here they are!). Thus, I found Ibrahim the tailor and well, the rest is herstory/history/ourstory/you’re part of the story.

I was just so pleased to know that Reb Zalman was so pleased with my work (that’s his “AOK” at the top of this page!) – prouder than a peacock in fact!
