Hi it's Debra McCloskey. I somehow have a brown pair of leather gloves that were in my son's pocket. Someone may have slipped them in his coat pocket last Friday night, February 9? They are ladies gloves, brown leather worn well, and size small! Wonder who is missing these sweet gloves? 303-926-8058. truly, Debra

Temple of Song: the Ecstasy of Hebrew Chanting

Temple of Song: the Ecstasy of Hebrew Chanting with Eyal Rivlin and Danya Uriel, a Naropa Continuing Education Class. Chanting works! Hebrew chanting invokes the collective consciousness of four millennia of ancient mystical teachings. In this experiential workshop, chants and nigguns will be explored along with attunements (kavvanot) and contemplations into the deeper meanings of the ancient Hebrew prayers and mantras. These powerful chants can be used for meditation, healing, prayer, and as vehicles to connect with the spiraling rhythm of the Jewish year. No previous musical background or knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. This class will be offered in a safe and open-hearted environment, with live accompaniment. Thursdays, February 22–April 12, 7–9 p.m. Non-credit: $245, or $208.25 by February 3. For location and registration information please contact: Naropa University’s Extended Studies Department. 303-245-4800. naropa.edu/extend/wisdom.cfm

Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi will present his talk on "Some Reflections on the Emerging Cosmology," Wednesday, February 21 in the Naropa University Performing Arts Center located at 2130 Arapahoe Ave.
