PRAYERS
AT PARDES LEVAVOT
Thank
You!
Thank you to Shirly
Pugatzky and Ari Saponar for providing our Kiddush this past Saturday
in honor of Shirly's Birthday. Happy Birthday Shirly!
Hi it's Debra McCloskey. I somehow have a brown pair of leather gloves
that were in my son's pocket. Someone may have slipped them in his coat
pocket last Friday night, February 9? They are ladies gloves, brown
leather worn well, and size small! Wonder who is missing these sweet
gloves? 303-926-8058. truly, Debra

Temple of Song: the
Ecstasy of Hebrew Chanting
Temple of Song: the Ecstasy
of Hebrew Chanting with Eyal Rivlin and Danya Uriel, a Naropa
Continuing Education Class. Chanting works! Hebrew chanting invokes the
collective consciousness of four millennia of ancient mystical
teachings. In this experiential workshop, chants and nigguns will be
explored along with attunements (kavvanot) and contemplations into the
deeper meanings of the ancient Hebrew prayers and mantras. These
powerful chants can be used for meditation, healing, prayer, and as
vehicles to connect with the spiraling rhythm of the Jewish year. No
previous musical background or knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. This
class will be offered in a safe and open-hearted environment, with live
accompaniment. Thursdays, February 22–April 12, 7–9 p.m. Non-credit:
$245, or $208.25 by February 3. For location and registration
information please contact: Naropa University’s Extended Studies
Department. 303-245-4800. naropa.edu/extend/wisdom.cfm

ALEPH's Kallah Brochure

Friends, I can't tell you how
excited I am about this upcoming Kallah. Every year the class proposals
are more impressive, and this year is no exception. That means that
your study options will be wide and deep. You will see that at this
Kallah we paid special attention to providing a broad range of
intermediate and advanced level courses for all of you life long
learners. We already have some amazing evening programs planned, not to
mention our "Rebbe is In" sessions and davenning offerings. And the
workshop track! Oh my goodness-what a rich selection. You can see it
all (except the workshop offerings-they are not yet final) and get your
Kallah questions answered about fees, etc. at: www.aleph.org/kallah.html.
