Pardes Levavot

Pardes Levavot, “Orchard of Hearts,” was formed in the spirit of creating conscious holy community. Our name expresses the spiritual blossoming of each individual heart within an inspiring and nurturing orchard.

For information on our congregation please call (303) 563-2110 and leave a message or send email to info@pardeslevavot.org. To join our congregation, please print a copy of our membership form, fill it out, and send it to our Synagogue.

Pardes Levavot gratefully acknowledges Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado for their support of our Circle of Family Education program. Thank you!

Getting Involved

JCC Purim Carnival

The annual JCC Purim Carnival is fast approaching. If you would like to volunteer to help, please contact info@pardeslevavot.org. We need help with: the photo booth (helping the kids take pictures), face painting or hair spray painting. We also have a form to pre-order game tickets, purchase early and save money!

Additionally,
we are looking for outgoing, energetic, goofy people who want to help tell the story of Purim at our carnival. These volunteers will act as wandering minstrels – each taking a character from the Purim story and telling it from his/her point of view to the children at the carnival. Those who volunteer will have the opportunity to help create the script, determine what part you want to play, and choose what shift you want for the carnival (first come/ first serve). To help with this GREAT mitzvah (and have a fun time at the carnival), or to get more information, please contact Sarah Pew at 303-437-9268 or by email at sarah@sarahsparties.com. This is open to anyone 16 years old or older. There is limited space, so please contact Sarah today.

From the Shepherd of the Hills Bulletin

Community Infant Program (CIP) – Bring baby items to help struggling parents and single mothers. There is an ongoing need for disposable diapers for young families with children. You can bring them to the church. Thank you!

Moishe and Shmuel had not seen each other in many years. Now they had a long talk trying to fill in the gap of those years by telling about their lives. Finally, Moishe invited Shmuel to visit him in his new apartment.

"I got a wife and three kids and I'd love to have you visit us."

"Great. Where do you live?"

"Here's the address. And there's plenty of parking behind the apartment. Park and come around to the front door, kick it open with your foot, go to the elevator and press the button with your left elbow, then enter!

"When you reach the sixth floor, go down the hall until you see my name on the door. Then press the doorbell with your right elbow and I'll let you in."

"Good. But tell me... what is all this business of kicking the front door open, then pressing buttons with my right and left elbow?"

"You're coming empty-handed?"
